Use of alumina
The main components of ruby and sapphire are alumina, which have different colors due to other impurities. Sapphire contains iron oxide and titanium oxide and is blue.
2. The content of alumina is the highest in the main component of the aluminum ore. Industrially, bauxite is purified to alumina by the Bayer process and then converted to aluminum by the Hall-Heroult process.

Calcined alumina is an essential raw material for producing antique bricks, while industrial alumina can be used to produce microcrystalline stone.
